How to use the site?

„Marking Historic Places” is part of the Ariadna project - a website presenting digital resources of culture and science of the Silesian region and the Silesian Voivodeship. The collections available to everyone consist of rich collections of books, magazines, photographs and many other objects.

In the „Historic Place Marking” module, you will describe selected locations on maps in the context of time and space. The added projects will be visible to other members of the Ariadna community and will be used by researchers for further scientific work.

You can describe specific historical places, establish relationships with other locations, view the history of changes. Active users of the portal earn badges and occupy high positions in the ranking, which translates into receiving the title of Junior Researcher, Researcher or Senior Researcher.
